School Day Plus

The School Day Plus After School Program will begin operation at Arthur I. Boreman Elementary School on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Once again Mrs. Carolyn Cantor will be the coordinator for our program. School Day Plus will begin at 3:30PM and end promptly at 5:30 PM. Day care services will be provided and children will be given an opportunity to complete their homework. Mrs. Cantor is a certified teacher and will be available to tutor students.

The School Day Plus Program will follow the Tyler County School calendar. Therefore if school is not in session, or if school is dismissed early, there will be no School Day Plus on those days.

Day care, homework assistance and enrichment classes will be available to all students at the following cost:

Regular Lunch Students $ 2.00

Reduced Lunch Students $ 1.00

Free Lunch Students No Cost

Payment may be made on a daily or weekly basis. However if you prefer to make a monthly payment, please call me to make arrangement. Special “Holiday Craft Nights” and Pizza Movie Nights,” will cost all students $ 3.00 for each activity.

Please send a note each night your child will be attending School Day Plus. However, you may send one note for the entire week. The following information needs to be included on this note:

Ø Ø Student’s Name

Ø Ø Homeroom Teacher’s Name

Ø Ø Date

Ø Ø Phone number where a parent can be reached on that particular day.

Ø Ø Name of the person picking up your child and their relationship to your child.

Ø Ø Parent Signature
