Yesterday our Bobcats in grades 1-5 celebrated their 100th day of school by dressing like "old people".

On Wednesday, February 11th select Boreman students participated in the county Math Field Day. These students spent multiple hours and days practicing math to be able to compete at the county level. Last Saturday, January 31st, the Boreman Bobcat Percussion Ensemble traveled to John Marshall High School, to perform in the Region 1 Solo and Ensemble. We are very proud of the hard work and effort they put into this performance. They did a great job and represented our school and our county well. We will get our equipment ready and have a short rehearsal before we leave at 9:30 from Boreman for John Marshall High School. We perform at 10:54. Tyler County Schools are closed Thursday, January 29th, 2026 to icy secondary road conditions and low temperatures. Staff to report on a 2-hour delay.

Wetzel County Tech Center’s Tech Express welcomed all 3rd graders from Tyler and Wetzel counties this week. Students rotated through CTE stations including taste-testing, letter writing to Santa, games, shirt making, and so much more. Additionally, TCHS FBLA students and TCHS students who attend Wetzel Tech helped create some holiday magic at each station.

Students in West Virginia Grades K-12 were invited to create original artwork or submit photos for state art contest inspired by the West Virginia Farm to School Conference theme -"Let's Grow Together." art submissions were themed around gardens, farms, and local food. The students pictured had their artwork on display at the Farm to School Conference in Morgantown, WV.
