Starting today, parent pick-up at the end of the school day will take place at the back patio. There will be a sign-out sheet at door 15. We ask that you refrain from parking on the grass. Wetzel County Tech Center’s Tech Express welcomed all 3rd graders from Tyler and Wetzel counties this week. Students rotated through CTE stations including taste-testing, letter writing to Santa, games, shirt making, and so much more. Additionally, TCHS FBLA students and TCHS students who attend Wetzel Tech helped create some holiday magic at each station.

Students in West Virginia Grades K-12 were invited to create original artwork or submit photos for state art contest inspired by the West Virginia Farm to School Conference theme -"Let's Grow Together." art submissions were themed around gardens, farms, and local food. The students pictured had their artwork on display at the Farm to School Conference in Morgantown, WV.
As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all students, especially those participating in athletic activities, Tyler County Schools has developed a Cardiac Emergency Response Plan. This plan outlines the steps to be taken in case of a cardiac emergency, such as sudden cardiac arrest, during athletic events or activities. It is essential that you review and understand this plan and sign the acknowledgement form below to indicate that you have received and reviewed the plan. This is a requirement for athletic participation, as per WV Code 18-5-22.
Please note that this plan will be posted on the county and each school's website and is available for your review at any time. A signed form must be submitted to a designated school official before your child can participate in any athletic activity.

Parents and guardians of students that sold items in our Boreman Boosters Fundraiser, those items are in. Please make arrangements to pick those items up either today or by the end of the school day tomorrow. Unfortunately they are too big for us to send home on a school bus. Boreman held its First Annual Pumpkin Drop on November 6th! Primary winners are Mrs. Gum and Mrs. Kehrer's class. Intermediate winners are Mrs. Gist and Mrs. Glover's class. Students collaborated and prepared their boxes in Steam with Mr. Wilson. Congratulations to the winners and all participants!

The Boreman Bobcat Choir performed the National Anthem Saturday at a Nailers game. They did an outstanding job and received many compliments on their performance from audience members. Afterward, they got to stay and enjoy the game and had a great time cheering for the home team at their season opener!
