The TCHS Knights have begun the 2025 season, as they traveled to North Bend Golf Course on Tuesday, August 5, for the LKC Scramble. The Tyler A-Team, comprised of juniors Morgan Fisher and John Mace, along with sophomores Chase Camerlin and Xavier Kanz, finished at eight under par. This put them in a tie for sixth place among 11 teams. The B-Team consisted of juniors Coley Bell and Aiden Smith, along with freshmen Kaylin Eastham and Collin King. They finished at three under par.
Today, the teams are in an 18-hole match at the Roane Country Club, and tomorrow the girls compete in the St. Marys Girls Invitational.

The TCHS and TCMS Golf Teams recently enjoyed their annual Summer Fun Trip, with a visit to Topgolf in Bridgeville, PA, followed by taking in an evening baseball game at the Washington Wild Things.
A nice stop at Sarris Ice Cream and Candy punctuated the middle part of the afternoon, and fireworks after the ballgame capped off the evening.
The golfers had seats right behind home plate in the first several rows as they cheered the Wild Things on to victory.
The teams conduct a spring fundraiser to pay for the trip, and once again this summer, a good time was had by all.
The high school golfers will have their first two matches of the 2025 season this week, traveling to North Bend Golf Course on Tuesday, August 5, for the LKC Scramble, followed by an 18-hole match at the Roane County Country Club on Thursday, August 7. The high school girls will compete in the St. Marys Girls Invitational on Friday, August 8.
The middle school golfers will have their first match of the year on Monday, August 11, as they host teams from Ohio County and Spencer.
Let the golf season begin! #KnightsPride

Earlier this month, two FBLA students had the opportunity to attend the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. Jackson Henderson and William Northcraft proudly represented Tyler Consolidated High School and West Virginia in Website Design and Introduction to Programming. They attended workshops, checked out the vendor hall, traded pins with other members, and made new friends from all across the United States. In addition to working, they also explored Disneyland, Long Beach, and Laguna Beach. Thank you for supporting Tyler FBLA!
